Hello Sabahattin:

It is possible to modify which original sending info appears in the BN when
quoting material.

After backing up your keymail folder, open the file email folders through
keyword by selecting the flash disk, the keymail folder, pressing space with
x (read with x) to view all including hidden files, and navigating to that
file.

If you use dots 4,5,6 (read with b) to navigate to the bottom of the
file, you will see a line beginning with the words forward heading, followed
by the words "-----original message-----" and a series of numbers. This is
the line which the BN looks for which fields to include in any forwarded
message.

To create a custom (sort of) reply separator, simply hit enter once (if one
carriage return is not already there), after this line and type the words
"reply heading" without the quotation marks. Next you may type the words
which you wish to appear as your reply separator, such as the generic
"original message" or whatever you wish.Remember that there is a max of 29
characters for this section, and you must use all of them to make it look
correct. for instance, if the words you wish to include add up to 21
characters, make sure to include 4 dashes/stars/whatever other symbol you
are using on either side. If you have any extra characters remaining,
keysoft will automatically tack on the symbols to the end of the line,
meaning you may have 3 dashes on your lefthand side and 5 on the other. If
you're neuroticlike me, this would drive you nuts!
Now, from your messages you generally say "on (date) (person's name) spoke
thus." This is not possible with the BN, because of space and limitations as
to inserting the time/date and the sender. So, you may opt to just type
"reply separator" or "original mesage" or some such and leave it at that.

Now, as you may already know (haha, being as computer savvy as you are) the
numbers immediately following this heading cue the BN to look for
corresponding headers found earlier in the file. You do not generally like
these headings, but perhaps since you cannot include the sender's name and
time/date, you may wish to include the numbers 65008 and 65003 which
correspond with these two fields, or you may wish to include none. To
include fields for the bn to look for, simply place them next to the chosen
custom reply separator, making sure to place one space between the outward
quote and the first number, , and separating each individual number by
commas.

To search for the numbers which correspond with other fields, simply route
your cursor to the top of the document by hitting space with dots 1,2,3
(read with t), enter the find menu by pressing space with f (read with f(,
pressing f to look in the forward direction, and type any word such as
sender, to, from, and whatnot. The number at the beginning of each line is
the number which must be included so that the BN knows which field you wish
to include.

If you make any error in modifying your database file, you will get an error
message when trying to exit the file. You can either document what you've
done and write to the list or use your logic (which you have a healthy
amount of) to figure out what may have gone wrong.

I hope this message wasn't too confusing and helps you to use keymail if you
absolutely must. HTH, Laura
