I'm wondering if it made a difference because Terri sent that attachment both to the list and as a CC file to someone. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Bishop" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2005 1:24 AM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Using my Cell Phone as a modem for the BN
What really started this whole thing of attachments was when poor Terri accidently sent the 2005 bible calendar to the list as an attachment and it made it through. I know for a fact that it did because I saved it and now have it on my bn and it works. What's really strange now is that the attachment file I actually sent didn't make it to the list, but an unnamed text file did make it through as an attachment. Sounds like someone at PDI snuck in and did some tinkering while everyone else was on holiday. <grin> What's even more interesting is that people didn't seem to notice the whole attachment thing that's been going on for the past week or so. Could it possibly be that with all the extraneous traffic on list lately that people just aren't paying much attention anymore? But that's a whole other can of worms which I'll try very hard to leave closed. Don On Mon, 03 Jan 2005 22:15:44 -0800, Peggy Kern wrote: Hey, no problem, Don. I'm wondering now if Dean has some special trick up his sleeve that allows him to send attachments and not the average list member. But no, he did say that perhaps someone else could send it. Okay, Dean, you've got some 'splaining to do. <grin> Peggy A person's maturity consists in having found again the seriousness one had as a child, at play. - Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche At 09:57 PM 1/3/2005, you wrote: >Okay guys, >Please check the message quoted below and you will see exactly why I >attempted to send the .klt attachment to the list. >Don >On Mon, 3 Jan 2005 21:41:55 +1300, Dean Jackson wrote: >Hi folks, >I'll send the file as an attachment to the list when I get back to the >office on Wednesday.
