Hello!

A sighted friend of mine went onto the sight and got it for me with my instructions. Coincidently, I think it came up on the sight right when my friend got it for me. I decided to try again for myself and I got the product key and did the upgrade which is now in my BN BT. At this point in time, I successfully embossed a 13 page braille document which went quite well. I don't think there is much difference in the process but it seemed to work fine! When I first turn on my unit, it comes up much faster with main menu and maybe this happens when Rom is used, I really don't know! As we all know the Super Disk drive doesn't work at this time! Hope a new driver for it will be available soon since I use mine quite a bit! The Email is dead in the water! I can dial my ISP with a phone line and it attempts to log on, I get Authentication Error, then my BN disconnects. The same thing happens when I attempt to connect to the WEB. I deleted anything that said Directory of Services. I deleted and recreated a file which has all the Email Directories according to PDI Staff. I rewrote the connectivity menu file as well as my account file, but the Email still does not work! I'm reading the Email chapter to see whether I missed something somewhere along the line! For now, my Email is dead in the water!

Do take care!

Jim Aldrich

I don't believe someone else's product key will work on your
braillenote. Sounded, from your message, like someone is bringing you
his product key.

Hi, Jim. I don't know that that is true. I downloaded my key myself.
There
was a link there.
