Hi Lisa and others;
I have a sight problem, Epolepsi and a mild hearing problem. I thank Pulse
Data for thinking of putting speach and braille together!
I get to start my training on my BT this Wednesday.

As many of you know, braille is a great back up to someone reading speach.
I love my BN!

Lisa, Brenda and I think it was don, thank you for the nice remarks.

Brenda,

I am deafblind and I *do* understand where you're coming from. Todd's issues
may stem from something deeper than his own deafblindness. That's too bad
but is something he'll have to deal with on his own. Believe it or not, I
remember being that bitter when I lost my own hearing. I became profoundly
deaf almost ten years ago. In addition to being totally blind, it was one of
the most difficult things I've had to adjust to.

I really think it's great that spent your vacation raising money to help the
deafblind. <smile>

As far as people like Todd are concerned, I block their e-mail messages and
let them complain in silence. It's not worth the time and effort of arguing
with someone who will not listen. Life is too short!

With that, I'm glad PDI took the steps that they did in moderating Todd's
posts. I for one encourage any and all discussions on this list regardless
of whether they apply to the BrailleNote and VoiceNote. Just because I can't
hear to use speech output doesn't mean that I'm not interested in seeing how
the VoiceNote progresses. I'm intrigued by technology regardless of whiat
disability it is made for, so keep those discussions coming!! <smile>

Lisa

Lisa, If you're deaf-blind, yu might understand what I'm saying. I'm
willing to be hurt to let some one else grow up. You don't know it but I
spent my vacations from defense work to try and earn money for the
deaf-blind. I'm a Spanish linguist who works for Defense. Thanks for your
help. If you can talk to him, do so. I suspect there's a bit more wrong
upstairs.
You can't hit anyone who is less able than you, can you? If he's a little
guy that just keeps hitting and hitting, one as the bigger guy just goes
away. I just don't want that boy hurt. Thanks for your support and
undersdanding.
