I appreciate this return to rational thinking on this topic.

We all got a message with the rules of the list stated very clearly. I
will paste part of this message below:

We require that messages be kept strictly on topic, that is to say that
all messages pertain to the Pulse Data PDA family of products. We insist
on this simply because each message you send to the list address will go
to hundreds of people, all of whom are here for one purpose, to talk
about Pulse Data's PDA family.

This "family" does include the BrailleNote, (both BT and QT models), the
VoiceNote, the GPS unit, and certain software such as KeySoft and
ActiveSync. It is possible that someone may even want to discuss such
things as Pocket Viewer, an aid to users with some vision or those with
full sight who are assisting a blind person. It would hardly be fair if
I were to rant and rave because a student, for example, needs assistance
with teaching a sighted teacher to use the PDI visual display with their
BrailleNote.

Paul H.!

Like I stated this to Terri, only watch yourself out! Whatever you say,
still VN should be out of here because it is SPEECH-ONLY. So, you are
getting the SAME reaction! Please keep both products categorically
separate! That is what I am trying to tell you and the others,
including Jonathan and Dean, so please rethink about what I mean here.

I am just trying to convince you and the others that VN should not be
discussed here because of it. And look, what does the title of this
list say? Then only Braillenote is to be discussed but VN out!

This is very clear.
