Thank you. That's all I needed to get started. I'll play around with it
later this morning. Can't wait. It will sure pass the time on the flight
and between my dog's nerves, the red wine and the books, I won't have time
to be nervous about the flight. Darn. I used to love flying, till I hit
about age 40, a few short years ago.

As far as I know, the web Braille books are uncompressed and in brf
format, so just read away. Apart from having made sure that they are
downloaded with brf extensions, you don't have to do anything. Just
open them with the bookreader and enter where it asks whether you wish
to change the options, as the default is no. The default is also
paragraph format so the only time you should perhaps want to change that
to line, would be when you read poetry, as paragraph format reads more
fluently, especially with speech only, which I use all the time, having
a voicenote.

Oh, I got a card reader that connects to my PC with a USB cable. It's a
sync. I got this type because I knew I'd need to do a lot of
transferring
between the BN and the PC, and I hate using the active sync method.
much
faster and easier this way. But I've got to read up on
reading web braille on the BN. i've either read it on the PC with jaws
or
translated it with duxbury and embossed. So this will be new.

Yes, be sure to use the html download options as opposed to the ascii
when
downloading or reading the books online. It's easier. I had the devil of
a
time learning how to get web-braille books. How do you plan to get them
on
the flash card? Ive got a flashcard reader but I don't have the computer

set up et. that is the new computer.
