I have been successful sending attachments with 6.11.  These went to someone 
who uses a PC.  Just my two cents.

As far as I can see, 5.1 is just exceptional.  As I've stated, I've not seen 
that attachments or long e-mails can be sent from a 6.11.  If you're into 
wireless, and websites, it's a good change; other than that, I think people are 
good with what they have.  Just an opinion.
