I would say wireless is definitely worth it! The Email is much more responsive and fast with 6.1.1 than it was with earlier versions. The web brouzer is much better as well! As I see it, the upgrade is well worth your while! It is truly unfortunate that many aren't receiving it in a timely manner.

hi

Although 6.1 does sound superb, its main feature is wireless.
I mean there's nothing outstandingly new about the word processor, calendar etcetra is there to make it really worth upgrading to 6.1? I mean 5.1 let's me type in my languages french and spanish and I can operate the unit just fine, or am i missing a really good feature set that can only be found in 6.1, and make it a must-have, besides wireless?
Just curious
its personal preference as to whether you upgrade, but it so expensive

I live in a rural area that doesn't have wireless points yet so it doesn't matter to me. I think that it is more important to actually have a product before you pay the bill for it and I waited 6 weeks after ordering before I finally decided it wasn't worth the wait anymore.

then you won't get an upgrade. Don't you want wireless?

I think it is interesting that each person who calls Humanware gets a supposedly different answer about the shipment of 6.1.1. That is why I canceled my order a month ago.

Hi: - Yes, the handling of the distribution of 6.1.1 has certainly been
shabby, at this rate, maybe they should save postage, and just bundle all
the upgrades up and distribute them at the ACB convention. I too, am
extremely frustrated since I've been holding onto my gps upgrade for about a
month or two, which Sendero would have much preferred providing once the BN
upgrade has been accomplished, but even they too became flustered over the
continual delay, so they went ahead and sent them out via e-mail. . .
However, one can't make the gps upgrade until you make the BN upgrade since
if you do it in reverse it will make your gps totally inoperable. Hmmmmm!
At this rate, I believe the Pony Express service could process and delivery
much quicker. All the best. - Kim

Excellent response! This is not the ideal example of good customer service.
I think I'll be surprised when I see the update show up in the mail.

Hello Shelley,
Well, your guess is about as good as mine or anyone elses. I called
Humanware yesterday to ask if or when my update was shipped and they refused
to look to see if it is even out the door. The person I spoke to just
repeated a couple times that I should get my copy sometime in April or maybe
May. At the rate this process is moving, I begin to wonder if June or July
is out of the question! If anyone from Pulse Data Humanware is listening,
might I suggest that when a customer takes the time to call about things
like this, they might at least consider checking their computer to see if
product has been shipped instead of more or less telling them to just sit on
it and spin!
If your customer service people don't have direct access to the shipping
information, I would ask "Why not!" One Increasingly Frustrated Customer
