I've only had the Brewt for a couple of months, but my routine is pretty similar to what I used to do with my Silvia. After each shot, I run some water through the group and wipe the shower screen. I have four baskets in rotation so I wash those out after every fourth shot. I wipe down the steam wand after every use.
Daily, I put a blind basket in and do a portafilter sneeze to get any grounds out of the shower screen and gasket area and then I do a quick backflush before emptying the drip tray and refilling the reservoir. I also shoot a couple of seconds worth of steam through the steam wand just to make sure the holes are clear. For the grinder, I vacuum it out pretty thoroughly (including a shot of compressed air to knock out the coffee that gets compressed down by the burrs). I have a small dust-buster type of vac with a narrow spout that fits perfectly up the chute of the Macap doserless and does a very good job. Every few weeks or month or so, I backflush the Brewt with cafiza and run some grindz through the grinder after vacuuming. I leave the residue in until the next day and then vacuum it out before grinding new beans. Seems to pick up more of the rancid oils and clean it out better if I let the residue sit over night. Probably my imagination, but it seems to work. This monthly use of cleaners adds about two minutes to my daily routine.
