David, Search the archives for "tip experiment" and you'll find my testing and results on many tips. My conclusion (which WLL warned me before I purchased the two-hole tip) was that the two hole tip is not very good for anything, especially not for microfoam. It does heat a drink really fast, though, if that's what you want to do. tx, bmc "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel....."
