I had a Silvia and a cheap 12 ounces pitcher and i was able to get a decent microfoam for a latte once every 20 intents...
Now with the Brewtus and I got drier and more powerwul steam and it seemed to me that the pitcher's size and amount of milk ( 5 to 6 ounces) were not ideal. Then I moved to a 16 ounce Motta Pitcher and WOW, I getting decent latte art once every 3 . The thickness of the stainless, the shape and size are ideal for 6 ounces of milk, giving you plenty of room for the milk to expand and that really makes a huge difference. In addition the spout is really the best for this purpose. It is funny, in my case using a thermometer is very misleading, I go by touch, as soon as the pitcher becomes uncomfortably hot, I get the tip to the bottom for about 12 seconds and that's it. By the way, the Brewtus lll comes with a one medium sized hole tip which is perfect for me coming from a Silvia.
