Hi Ren,

I am tempted to try the Illy iPerEspresso at work because I am curious
to see if it offers any improvement in taste and body. However, I
would have to purchase a new machine. I've also tried othe brands of
ESE pods but have found the puck is not firmly packed/tamped or the
grind is too large...either way the flow rate is wayyy to fast. The
Illy pods work best since the 'puck' is firm but I limit my pull to 1
- 1.5 ounces trying to keep it below 1.5 ounces. I also discard the
first few seconds of fluid flow and place the cup beneath the spout as
soon as the coffee streams shows signs of crema (takes about 2 seconds
usually). These steps have improved the taste and body of the ESE Pod
coffee.

I wonder if the iPerEspresso is worth the extra expense.......
