Shame on me--confession I've never descaled my original B don't know where I got the idea that it wasn't good to do it but I never have.
seeing those of you who are still cooking with thier B1s several of you mention descaling I have Barry Luterman's instructions to descale, but what precautions should I take? I imagine I have a pretty serious scale problem Are there parts I should just take apart and clean before they get gunked up? If I'm going to do it, I'm thinking to do it right, and do it thoroughly. I've had enuf problems and would like to see if I can save this machine or not.
