Hi all,

I've just won a Stafco branded Brewtus 2 off ebay in the UK and have
read alot from this group and many other sources.

I suspected the AKO 13123 Digital Thermostat was going to be kaput
when I went to pick it up and was not dissapointed. I've found the UK
importer and sent the defective unit to him. He believes the CPU is
burnt out following the current through the board. I've a new one on
the way and he's sending the defunct one to AKO in Spain to try and
get answers. I just wanted to let people know that I was aware of this
units failures with a number of brewtus owners and I hope to get some
acknowledgement from AKO.

I will seriously consider a PID conversion in the future and am
currently researching a UK solution.

So so far my unit is only pumping steam and I've yet to sample the
delights of espresso and once my replacement AKO unit arrives later
next week I can get that brew boiler fired up and pull my first shots.

Mike
UK.
