Wohooo! Controller arrived this morning from Southern Temperature
Sensors Ltd.

Plugged in and firing on all cylinders!!!!

I did worry at first when it was staying at 36 celcius but a quick
scan of the settings and it's now a heater controler not a cooling
one ;o)

I've currently set the offset to -7 celcious as covered in some of the
correspondance on here and I've used HomeBarista's write up on initial
flushes for the first shot of the day.

The one thing I'm noticing off the bat that there is some considerable
lag. Set at 95 celcius the unit goes off the scale for a minute then
cools to 94 ish before heating again. The existing temp sensor seems
to have plenty of thermal paste in place.

I've been able to practice steaming milk over the last week as the
steam boiler still worked and I've posted up my first ever latte from
the now fully functioning unit here

http://www.home-barista.com/knockbox/can-no-longer-blame-equipment-t12186.html

Still not perfect latte art but I've a twin hole nozzle on the way and
hopefully better microfoam.

Thanks to this forum for all the good advice and smoother transition
into the Brewtus II world!

Mike.
