Please help! Any insight or instructions would be greatly appreciated. My wife and I are having withdrawals and I am starting to fear that we did something wrong to our dear Brewtus.
Sparkley bits tend to be chrome flaking off the mushroom or so I've been told. Carefully remove the big nut. Wrap the wrench or nut with tape so you don't scratch it. I use a 3/4 drive 36MM socket with a 24" breaker bar and it comes off like it's finger tight. My dad drove a 356 Porsche and that was the tool you needed for the rear axles. Under it is the mushroom. Take it out and clean off all the loose chrome. Likely that's the problem and it's not really a problem. it will take care of itself in time if you do nothing.
Unless of course it's something else! I've never had the problem but a search on HP should lead you to similar suggestions.
