I just got a brewtus iii-v in december and am now very happy with it.
It seemed to take it awhile to adjust to daily use and at first I was
a little worried, but it corrected itself nicely. Some unusual noises
in the beginning and some issues when i first started playing with the
PID... it would start a freefall on boiler temp and not recover. That
happened for a few days, which prompted me to contact WLL, but now all
the personality quirks seem to be worked out and it works great every
time.

There are lots of things I like about this machine... the huge water
reservoir and drip tray, the no-burn steam wand, and of course the
PID. With a great grinder (Baratza Vario is awesome and versatile for
every brewing method), you can pretty easily dial in an optimal shot
every time. I work as a barista and have pretty high expectations of
what a machine should accomplish, and am very happy so far. Am
playing with different steam tips to get velvety milk texture and so
far like the stock one-hole tip that comes with the machine the
best.

I also looked at Andreja Quickmill, but it's a heat exchanger so you
would have to temperature surf a bit. Plus, Chris Coffee didn't give
me any reason to want to buy from them, and I also just really wanted
a dual boiler unit. My advice would be to contact both Chris and WLL
(or wherever you'd plan on getting the Brewtus), and get a feel for
what they're willing to do for you both in terms of sale and support.

Good Luck!
