You will need line pressure to experience real preinfusion. To adjust the time, leave the lever in mid position. - Dennis

Temporarily, water is sucked up by the pump from a pot full of water that sits beside the machine. Unfortunatelly, Vario grinder was on back-order, but hopefully I will get it on Monday. I played with pre-ground ILLY that comes in can, 40 pound tap - just a water came out of it. Then I did very fine ground (like for the Turkish coffee) of an excellent coffee with electric grinder, some 40-50 pounds tap, with limited success. I found strange that my Brewtus has almost no pre-infusion I watched some video, and noticed that preinfusion lasts for about 4-8 seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPdz8Cz7lrc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zb4hfRIv1Kw On my machine, as soon as I pull the handle up, pressure goes from 12 to 2, and immediately to 7.5. Temperature stays at 96, and pressure at 7.5 for the full 25 seconds. Is there a way to adjust time of pre-infusion?
