Does the squealing sound start only after pre-infusion chamber is full and coffee starts dripping? Does the group-head handle move at all by itself during extraction?
I have brand new BIIIR, and after my first cleaning with Cafiza (or now you got me thinking, after brewing pressure adjustment) right after pre-infusion chamber is full, group head handle moves a bit right and down. It was squealing at first, but now I don't hear any noise. There is no impact on functionality for now. There is a good article on e61 lubrication that might help: http://coffeetime.wikidot.com/e61-lubrication Miroslav On May 6, 6:36 pm, Sludgemaster <[email protected]> wrote: > I just finished a rotary conversion due to a vibe pump failure and all > was well until I adjusted the brew pressure because after the > conversion the pressue was only at 8.
