Thanks, you were right about the descaling. Finished it this
afternoon. I got a lot of green scale out of it. I really didn't think
I'd ever need to descale since I've always been so careful about the
quality of water that goes into it, but it really needed it.  Also
took off the large top nut and the side lever and cam. They were
actually pretty clean but a little wipe down just seemed appropriate
to complete the job. Also took off the group screen and purocafe'd it.
I was surprized that the rubber gasket was still soft and pliable
after four years. It took several times of draining and refilling the
boilers to get the citrus taste out of the water. Even though the
instructions said two flushes would do it, five times was closer to
right. Thanks again!
