Random thoughts...

I have sorta compared the Brewtus III-v to the Alex Duetto 2 superficially.
The Alex's build quality seems a little brittle to me given it's price tag.
The Brewtus offers more for the money it seems. I have been enjoying my B3
for 2 months, really amazing. If you are in Canada, www.zcafe.ca is the way
to go for sure. Super helpful and quick shipping. Surprising prices as
well.

I was really hesitating between HX v.s. DB for a long while, and decided to
go for a DB. As per my early brainstorming, I was only giving the DB a
slight edge on paper when doing comparisons, but after using it for a few
months, and doing some side by side comparisons with my friends Rocket
Cellini (HX), I would never go back. PID and DB allows you to focus on the
other dozens of variables when pulling shots. I am so glad I went for it.
You want 94 degrees? click click - done.

In terms of visuals, the rocket/ecm line is better looking than the Brewtus
I find. But the Brewtus is nice as well and looks shouldn't play a big
factor. I also like the angled portafilter on the Brewtus... help when
tamping or setting up the tamp.

WHIS LIST: I wish I could have a switch to only turn on the brew boiler,
which I know the the Alex has. Is it worth all this extra $$$ though, not
really sure?

Other thing. The Brewtus's steam power is too low when shipped. Cranking
to 1 bar is super easy (30sec adjustment)....
