How many ounces of water do you flush prior to pulling a shot if your Brewtus
has been sitting idle for a while? I watched a video of temperature surfing on
a Silvia the other day and the guy flushed water until the heater kicked on and
then he waited for the heater to turn off before pulling. I tried doing that
with my Brewtus and practically drained the whole reservoir! I ended up
assuming that that wasn't necessary with a double boiler. Sometimes I wish I
had a good thermometer and an independent pressure gauge.
