Ask all the questions you want. That's what the forum is for. My steam pressure (B2) is set to turn off the boiler at 1.45 bar (approximately, ha ha....ahem.), and even at that I sometimes wish for more. Others in the past have taught me a technique to maximize it, which is--clear the steam wand for a few seconds into the drip tray, until the boiler comes on. When the gauge is almost at the boiler cutoff point (1.45 in my case), start steaming the milk. This will start your steam at max pressure, and with the boiler already on, it holds at a much higher pressure than if the boiler is off and then kicks on mid-steam. In my case it keeps me steaming at about 1.2-1.3 bar instead of .9 to 1 or so.
