I've been using both the Brewtus and GS3 everyday for about 2 months
now. It's an incredibly well built machine having played with the
inards of both (well just exploring the GS3). As far as build
quality there is no comparison. The display and settings are also
better - you have a lot of control w/ settings and readout..GS3 has
handy items like a built in shot timer. You get to set boiler temp
but can see the cycle/brewhead actual temp. Preinfuse is better.

BUT

While Steam is stronger - you need to be careful...makes is easy for
people to overheat their milk...unless you prefer doing that for USDA
reasons.
While Volumetric Dosing - is great for flushes I'm not sure why people
would use a machine this awesome to pull shots this way. Your puck
can absorb more or less water based on a variety of variables which
change even during a single day.. and manually controlling it - not
time not volume - is the only way to really nail those shots.
Cleaning seems much easier (don't know why but it is).

So all that's groovy - but it's really expensive and once dialed in
you can get equivalent results from either machine with roughly the
same amount of work.
On the other hand the GS3 is beautiful and well built, easily
tweakable and if money is no object I can't see a reason not to prefer
it.
