Hello, I'm new to the group but am a longtime Brewtus user. I currently
have a brewtus II with a suspected cracked boiler(s). Last winter I had to
pack up my brewtus while traveling for a few months, I left it in the garage
in a storage bin without thinking too much about it. We had an unusually
cold winter with temps well below zero. Upon unpacking my brewtus last week
and getting it up and running I found that when the pump activates to fill
the boiler water just pours out of the bottom of the machine. I'm guessing
that the water that was remaining in the boiler froze and cracked the
boiler, anybody else ever have this problem? I've yet had time to take the
brewtus apart but plan to this week. I haven't had to do any repairs to the
machine before this, will this be a job that I will be able to undertake at
home? I'm fairly mechanically inclined and would like to avoid mailing back
to WLL if possible. Thank you for your help! Phil.
