There is nothing wrong with the vibe pump. For a long time, it was the only game in town for all home users. But with the Brewtus, you have an opportunity: it is a lot cheaper and simpler to go ahead and get the factory installed rotary pump when you are buying a new machine rather than to contemplate trying to do it yourself at some point in the future.
If you feel that right now, you can't afford the extra 7.6%, then relax. It is not essential. There has not been any systematic testing that has demonstrated that people can taste a difference between the two pumps. But most users report that the quiet rotary is more "pleasant" and just feels a little nicer to use. So why not just get the ultimate version and skip the "gee, why didn't I do it" feeling down the road. With the current sale and the newsletter deals, I think we are talking about ~$100. Perhaps you could hink of it as using the sales tax dollars you save ... unless you live in NY and have to pay it. :) KittJ On Jan 18, 2014, at 9:33 PM, Alex Chan <[email protected]> wrote: > > Actually I don't plan on plumping in the Brewtus as I stay in a rented > apartment that doesn't allow me to do such stuff. > Is the vibratory pump okay? > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
