I saw in a different thread a short comment about the Brewtus IV Rotary having an automatic shut off in the event of no water.
Can someone explain what this means? If I have my machine plumbed in and it demands water and for some reason, can't get it, will the unit automatically shut off? If so this could be very useful. I had a bad incident a while back where my unit failed, melted an internal hose, and water leaked all night causing major damage. I'm now very nervous and shut the machine off AND turn off the water supply every night. The downside is it takes a while to get things up to temperature in the morning. If there is a 'no water safety' would this mean I can leave the unit turned on overnight but just turn off the water supply? Then, if I have a repeat disaster, no water damage would occur as the water line is shut off. I'd be concerned though if the unit demands water, and can't get it, I'd cause damage. However, if this is a built in safety feature, then maybe this would be a good solution. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
