Title: Re: Setting OPV affects the brew temperature?

I measured that it's hotter than the temperature set by the PID.
Set it at 88 Degree Celsius but it's measures as 91. Flushing was done.

Was the increase of pressure from the OPV causing it to heat up more?

PIDs have offsets because the temperature at the group will be different than the temperature at the boiler, if the offset is set wrong, you'll see that issue. Somewhere are directions on how to set the offset, but I don't have them.

No clue what factory setting is, but the pressure pulling a shot is more important and is usually less than against a blind filter.
