That's what I meant essentially--the first position on the lever on your B2 allows water to flow at line pressure, i.e. no pump, and you can get a decent wetting of the puck from that without blasting it with 9 bar over a few seconds. And you can indeed control the length by letting water flow for a certain number of seconds, then dropping the lever again if you wish to allow some amount of time to let water absorb. I know it's rudimentary, but like many variables, you'd be surprised how consistent you can be without a ton of fancy tools. :) You can also adjust on the fly as weather changes, etc. if things seem to be going wrong.
