UNLESS the show screen is physically mangled, you need NOT replace it. Using an old saucepan boil the screen in Joglo, purocaf, or similar until it comes out clean.
at the same time remove the dispersion screw from the brewhead and boil it as well. with the unit warm but turned off scrub the head internally and in the groove where the old gasket WAS. replace the screw, do not over tighten! then the screen gasket combo. Same prcedure we have used on HUNDREDS of e61s serviced here in our shop The cafelat gaskets do not harden like the stock ones. Get one.
