I left a seriously gunked up screen in Cafiza for about a week, adding some fresh Cafiza on occasion and with a toothbrush scrubbed it out. All the gunk came out and the screen looks brand new. I too am going to try the silicone gaskets - but direct from Paul. Much cheaper than local or other sources. Gonna get a few and some for my Silviia.
