I have a B I purchased in 2005. My wife has been sick of the noise it makes, although, with only replacement of the contoller x2 in the past 11 years, maintenance has not been expensive. I have been ready for a PID'd machine for a long while.
We are looking at replacing both our Rocky and the Brewtus I. The units that we are looking at include the Profitec 700, Alex Duetto 3, and the Quickmill Vetrano 2B. With rotary pumps, they will represent a noise improvement. The layout of the Profitec 700 should make it easier to work on than the Brewtus layout (every machine is going to need some work at some point). Has anyone any comments about the aforementioned three units that may be of help to this gentleman? Of course, he should really provide a budget. Also, I assume that he is going to plumb the unit in, as I think that pre-infusion requires it (or am I wrong?)
