Hey all, I’m new to the group and recently purchased a 2010 Brewtus III.
It’s in very good cosmetic condition, and the owner took very good care of it overall. I took apart the E61 brew group and cleaned out about 8 years of scale, but other than that the unit functions quite nicely. I have a few questions regarding things I should do for preventative maintenance, etc. 1. What are the top few parts that should be changed once a machine hits more than 5 years old? 2. Should I be thinking about getting the steam boiler descaled professionally at this point? 3. Is it feasible to install the steam boiler on/off switch that has been included on the Brewtus IV on my unit? 4. Are there any other cost effective upgrades you would recommend? I thank everyone in advance for their comments and suggestions! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
