Hi All, Happy New Year to everyone!
I've scoured the internet on whether it is advisable or not to de-scale a dual boiler machine. I own a Brewtus III with a reservoir. I have a built in water filter <https://www.amazon.ca/Filtrete-Maximum-Filtration-Reduces-3US-MAX-F01/dp/B01L0ADGUO/ref=asc_df_B01L0ADGUO/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=292926689906&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2581490341950886773&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9061030&hvtargid=pla-311397434565&psc=1> that reduces sediment, and minerals. I also have a Rocket water softener in my reservoir. >From what I gather, most of the advice leans towards avoiding a descale if possible. However, in the interests of keeping the machine running for many more years, would other owners encourage or discourage a de-scale with dezcal? if so, what is the method you use to de-scale? A fully disassembly or pouring solution in the reservoir and running it through the machine? Thanks Everyone!
