My 11-year-old Brewtus (III-V with vibration pump) has developed an issue where it has a tendency to not fully depressurize the grouphead after pulling a shot. After the shot is completed and I lower the lever, I notice that the amount of water expelled from the bottom of the grouphead (into the tray) has recently been much less than previous operation. As a result, pressure remains inside the brew basket such that when I twist it off there is a small explosion of water and grounds. Sometimes the result is not so dramatic, but the amount of water discharged from the bottom of the group head is still small and the puck is quite soggy.
Any suggestions? Thanks! Howard -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
