Hi all: Please excuse a novice question... I'm a Linux neophyte that's trying to learn...
I have a linux 2.4 box sitting immediately upon my cable modem connection (on a 3COM 905 connection). On the system, I connect two other machines, one through a wired NIC (Real 8149), and the other a laptop through wireless (aircom 340). I have two "real" IP addresses, assigned through DHCP. What I'd like to do is to use NAT to connect my main (wired) machine to my linux box, and have my laptop bridged, so it has a "direct" connection to the internet. Therefore the two "real" IPs I have will be assigned to the linux box, and to the laptop. My wired machine is 192.168.0.2. Can I do this? What would the configuration be? Thanks!
