Try removing the IP addressess from all your ethernet adaptors that are bridged, and instead alias them to the brX device. I've found that adding IPs to the ethernet ports, that are bound to a bridge to break bridging for some reason. (could be a Linux issue).
In any case, give it a shot as it works great for me.
