You cannot assign to a bridge interface that is not ehternet-like. If you
wish to do bridging via tunnel, you must use ethertap tunnel. The easiest
way is vtun - http://vtun.sf.net, but it works in userspace and eats lot
of cpu for higher bandwidths.

Any know solutions for creating ethertap tunnels in kernel space ?
