[Bridge] bridging problems.

Hi,
I setup a bridge (without nf patch) like this:

[br1] ------------[ROUTER HUB]------------------[br2]
| |----------------[10.20.30.0 HUB] ------------| |
|--------------------[192.168.0.0 HUB]-------------|

br1,br2 are my bridges (right now I am only interesed to make br1 to work).

br1 has 3 network cards
eth0 connected to [ROUTER HUB] , HUB on which my internet router is.
eth1 is connected to a HUB that serves a network with 2 computers with 10.20.30.x address
eth2 is connected to a HUB that serves a network with 3 computers with 192.168.0.x address

I setup the bridge like in the docs.
In short:
ifconfig eth[0,1,2] 0.0.0.0 promisc
brctl addbr br0
brctl addif [eth1..eth2]
brctl setbridgeprio br0 0
brctl sethello br0 1
brctl setmaxage br0 4
brctl setfd br0 4
ip link set br0 up
ip addr add $br1_addr/$br1_nm brd $br1_brd dev br0
ip route add default via $gw dev br0

I added that ip addr add to access the br1 bridge from internet (for now ).

My question is how do I configure the workstations in 192.168.0.0/24 and 10.20.30.0/24 networks to get to internet ?
I tried to add on br0 192.168.0.1 address and set gateway on 192.168.0.2 workstation to br0
192.168.0.1 added address. but it doesn't work.
I can ping the br1 computer but when I try to ping my ROUTER from a WORKSTATION it says:
From 192.168.0.1: icmp_seq=2 Redirect Host(New nexthop: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)

What should I set as gateway to workstations ?
P.S. bridge seems to run fine ... all interfaces are present and are in forwarding state (brctl showstp br0 is fine)
and even has all macs in my network listed on brctl showmacs br0
