Hi, I would like to setup the following network structure:
Client 1 <--802.11--> AP <--802.11--> Linux Bridge <--802.3--> Client 2 This is what I did: - patched kernel 2.4.18 to work with my wlan card (3COM 3crshpw196): http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net - compiled and installed atmel-wlan tools - enabled bridging support in kernel & recompiled kernel - installed bridging tools Now eth0 is regular Ethernet and eth1 is wireless. If I assign IPs to the interfaces I can ping Client 1 and Client 2. Next I create a bridge and add both interfaces to it. Up to here everything is fine. The problem is: No traffic is beeing bridged. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the difference between 802.11 and 802.3 to tell wether this is possible at all. Could anyone give me a hint!?
