I'm just wondering if the current bridging code in linux supports GRE tunnel interfaces as one of the interfaces being bridged.

Basically what I want to do is to create two separate physical networks with the same network address and then bridge them using a tunnel over a third network (which could be the public internet).

I know OpenBSD can do this, but I'm not sure about Linux. Anyone know for sure?

Please cc me on the reply as I'm not subscribed to the list.

Thanks,

Chris
