Status:
I hv redhat 7.3, 2.4.2. i hv installed the brctl
utility.
Problems:
1) the br0 logical bridge which i make using brctl
doesn't stay forever. It gets removed while rebooting.
That's clear! Your have to add the brctl calls to your startup files to
make it permanent.
2) the dhcpcd command doesn't provide an IP to the
bridge.
Have a look to the history of the bridge mailing list. I think this
problem has been discussed some month ago.
3) the win2k client has got no access the rest of the
LAN/internet.
Maybe you have to enable IPX in hte kernel's network stack!
