Hi,

With a bridge "ifconfiged up", I have problems shutting my 2.4.19 system down. It hangs and only a cold shut down helps.

But if I turn my network service off and shut down the machine after that, the machine turns off smoothly.

Maybe it helps your iptables problem too.

good luck!

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am having difficulties with iptables v1.2.6a. I have
set a bridge on Red hat Linux 7.2 upgraded with kernel

#service iptables stop
the following errors occure:

Please help me to solve the problem.
