WHAT THE MESSAGES???

What I classify as the standard messages from iptables -->

Mar 28 15:59:50 FW kernel: Dropped UDP: IN=br0 PHYSIN=eth1 OUT=br0 PHYSOUT=eth0 SRC=192.168.10.12 DST=255.255.255.255 LEN=65 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=128 ID=30194 PROTO=UDP SPT=177 DPT=177 LEN=45
Mar 28 15:59:57 FW kernel: Banned: IN=br0 PHYSIN=eth0 OUT=br0 PHYSOUT=eth1 SRC=213.156.50.136 DST=192.168.1.2 LEN=48 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=109 ID=17966 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=4178 DPT=21 WINDOW=16384 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0

Thinking about it, its probably more of an OS question, so I'm probably spamming the wrong list with my troubles. But I have configured /etc/syslog.conf so nothing is suppose to go to the console, but still it comes. (Background sound effects of War of the Worlds)

        Cheers,
                Ryan.

May be... ;)

I could always turn the box off? Very secure firewalling then :)
