I agree.  All of Roland Emmerich's films are visually sound.  Even Godzilla 
was well shot and had great effects.  The flaws in all of the Devlin/Emmerich 
films, in my opinion, are in the scripts.  You can't knock them for their 
large scale effects heavy flair.  Not to toot my own horn, but if they don't 
tamper with my script too much (heh, heh), it may just end up a good picture.

But this is all premature.  First we have to see if they get REALLY serious 
about it.  At this point it's just exploratory.
