The dagger is a standard Culture Contact/Special Circumstances Knife
Missile. The jewels in the dagger are micromissiles that are slaved to the
knife missile. Undoubtedly her Culture genofixing and other Neat Stuff
ensured her survival against the poison. The allergic reaction was caused by
her (I think).
