I'm not blindly accepting everything. What I recognize, however, is that
America has a broad consensus on the type of government they want, and our
two-party system is expertly tailored to providing the type of government
most Americans want. Look closely at the two parties, past the
political-campaign fodder designed to appease the radicals in each of their
bases. Look at the stuff that will actually be enacted by a Congress that
will be split almost nearly down the pipe.
I think you will see that you will end up with either slightly center-left
or slightly center-right governing, very similar to the past 12 years of
Bush-Clinton. There won't be a radical difference either way, because
right now Americans want more than anything to just hold the course......
they are so happy with how things are going, having to do a silly thing
like an election is perceived as just a minor annoyance.
It is hardly the time for revolutionaries.
