I'd go back and check the records. II've only brought up the issue *once*
in the past six months, and that was in response to a specific request to
follow up on some information from our previous go-round at the discussion.

Gosh, for you guys wanting soooooo badly to *not* discuss this topic, you
still managed to generate 10 replies to my message. And not one of you
decided to contact me off-list, which is what I would do if I really wanted
to avoid creating public discussion. Now, of course, you're generating
four more from me. Go figure.
If you guys don't want to discuss something, it is very simple - DON'T.
If you don't respond, the thread dies just like that. Even I don't talk
to myself.
If, however, somebody wants to discuss this topic, they will reply. Why
not let them? The subject clearly had "Roe" in the subject-header,
obviously flagging it as an abortion thread. There is no compelling
reason for you to participate. But, like mice to cheese you couldn't
resist just prolonging the discussion just a little longer. I mean, what
was it? Was it just too tempting to lay in a lick at me in public, rather
than accomplishing your goal?
Anyone ever consider why so many people consistently end up doing things
that they don't want to do? When do people keep engaging in behaviours
that are counterproductive to their goals? Can anyone think of some other
excellent examples of this phenomenon?
