Something has gone seriously wrong here.
This used to be a fun place to chat about all sorts of stuff. I joined to
chat Brin, I stayed because we chatted everything. Science, Religion,
Politics, Literature, Headless Clones: all were discussed evenly, heatedly
sometimes, but without this snide attidue, without this bad-tempered
flaming.
I've had enough. A few of us have said that the general tone is no longer
the same, and have tried to steer things towards the Land Of Fun again.
We've failed.
I have plenty of other e-mails to read. I may lurk for a while to see if the
tone changes after the 7th and this farcical non-contest and interest in it
is over with.
If anyone needs an opinion or feels my indepth knowledge of intestinal
parasites and unusual snack fioods might help them, feel free to post me
offlist.
