Don't know about you guys, but *this* is an interesting election IMO. From
apparent apathy throughout most of the campaign to what looks like the
highest level of voter turnout in the US in some time, and a vote that
literally seesawed from one side to the other several times.
I can't help but wonder how Florida being called for Gore so early (and in
error [I caught the screw-up too, John - anyone with an ounce of knowledge
about Florida could tell you the panhandle is heavily Repub]) affected the
Nader voters who had not yet voted.
If this election doesn't drive home the message that every vote does count,
I don't know what will. It's pretty darn exciting here. I'm just glad my
job prospects don't ride on the results. Don't think I could take the
stress.
